Plan Your Career

Cleveland School is a very famous school in England, which helps students to prepare for life after High School. It has developed career fields program for the students in order to help and succeed in their education. Career fields allow students and teachers to combine studying with obtaining some technical skills, which will be helpful while further education.  This program consists of six career steps: Arts and Communications, which focuses on the careers, connected with arts. This includes teaching music, visual and media arts, theatre and cinema, public relations and many other subjects, that can be used in this sphere. 

The next step is Business, Management and Information Technology field, which deals with developing skills in business, management and administration. Also they are studying finance and accounting. Another field of studying is Environmental and Agricultural Systems Career Field, which are connected with the studying of agriculture, environment and natural resources. This field includes the studying of lots of sciences, such as agricultural sciences and resources, environmental studies and studying of some natural resources, such as animal and forest areas. 

One more Career Field is Health Services, which includes education in health and treatment; services and areas of health industry. There are different kinds of job in the health industry: dentistry, nursing, therapy, nutrition and many others. As for the Human Resources field, it trains students in the sphere of economy, politics and social systems, including such services as protection, education and family. The students will have the possibility to work in the brunch of laws, legal services and community support areas. The last, Industrial and Engineering Systems Career field educates students in the area of technology, which is necessary for future work with design, installation of transportation systems and construction. The students can study engineering, mechanics and construction. Each career field is a part of a Career Path Way Certificate Program. The only difference between this plan and the plan of the High School is that students can enter the workforce after finishing High School. After entering, students can choose career field, according to their tastes.
