In order to succeed in your career, you need to have a good planned strategy. Here are some career-planning exercises, which will help in your life.
1. You should analyze your present and future way of life. Are you content with your present lifestyle? Do you desire to preserve it or change?
2. Analyze your likes and dislikes. What sorts of activities — at play and at work — do you delight? What sort of works do you avoid? Look at your present job and career path regarding this list.
3. Examine your passions. Mirror on the situations and times in which you believe most passionate, - and see whether you may develop a general profile of the situations. Compare your listing of passions with your present job.
4. Analyze your weaknesses and strengths. Look at yourself from the perspective of an employer. Point your strengths and weaknesses concerning work experience, skill development, education or training, abilities and talents, personal characteristics, and technical knowledge.
5. Examine your meaning of success. Spend time thinking of how you determine success. What is it to you: power, wealth, control, contentment, etc?
6. Investigate your personality. Are you an introvert or an extravert? Do you like doing or thinking? Do you like change or routines? Do you like being on the move or sitting behind the desk?
